Practicum Placement

As this semester is coming to an end, I am beginning to look forward to practicum next semester. I think practicum is going to be a great experience. All the first year nursing students will be placed in a hospital in Durham region. We will be in practicum two days a week and every other week. Now that I have learned proper assessments for various skills, I will be able to take all of my knowledge and apply it in next semester’s clinical placement. I am excited to meet and provide care to all of my patients. I think next semester is going to be exciting and I believe having patient interaction next semester will help keep me motivated.
