Nursing as a Career

Nursing is not a job; it is a profession, a career that nurses can take with them all around the world. Nursing is a career that will always be in demand; they are needed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When people are sick, die or born, nurses are involved with people in their most intimate times of life. Nurses are there to help make sure people get better, provide the necessary resources, and they are also always there to provide emotional support. A registered nurse has the option of working anywhere in the world; whether it is in a hospital a community environment or a private setting. I believe that nursing can never get boring because there are always so many job opportunities in a variety of settings.
